Are you close to Australia Zoo?
We are only 20 mins from AZ.
There is a free bus that takes you to Australia Zoo from the Caloundra Bus interchange or you can drive your own car along the Steve Irwin Way to the Zoo.
We can print your tickets here in the office so queuing up is something you don’t have to do.
If you are a bird lover , you will marvel at the free flying bird display ,one of my favorites.
Are you close to all shops?
The shops are just 70 metres along the road.
There are 10 restaurants within walking distance to cater for any palate.All very good
The Local shopping centre has Fruit shop, BWS ,Chemist, Post Office, Endeavour foundation Clothing shop, Newsagent ,Medical centre Barber,Optomertist,hot bread shop ,Coffee shops ATM’s as well as take-away food .
In fact if you did not want to leave our front door ,Joe’s Pizza, (he claims to be the best in the World) We certainly agree his Pizza is amazing just telephone and He will deliver to the door of your apartment.Please tell him you apartment #

Do you have a lift?
Many of the resorts in Caloundra are walk up
We are one of them.
This is not a problem for most visitors , and if your apartment is on a top floor we will assist you .
When we arrived here at Fairseas 6years ago, Beverley and I decided to cancel our subscription at the Gym. Please feel free as part of you fitness regime to do the same while visiting Fairseas
Another good incentive for you to stay longer.
No we don’t have a lift.
Are you Air –Conditioned?
Being right on the beautiful waters of Pumicestone Passage, we get any breezes the good Lord wishes to send our way ,be it a Nor’Easter or a Sou’Easter ,whatever is on offer,we get it .
By opening the sliding doors to your patio, and the windows in your bedrooms you will find you have a delightful breeze 24 hours long.
We pride ourselves on not contributing to the so called “Carbon Footprint ”All our owners are very thankful for the Electricity bill being minimized. You benefit by the “affordable rates.
We do have overhead fans for the unexpected hotter days.
Can we play Golf close by?
You have plethora of golf courses to choose from .
Just 5 mins away is the Greg Norman designed Pelican Waters Golf Course.
If you stay here for a week you could play on a different course every day.
Take your pick in any order you would like ,starting up at Palmer Coolum, or Coolum Golf course itself, Twin Waters, ( probably my pick), Headland at Buderim, Horton Park ,(until it shifts to the Maroochy North Shore,) Caloundra Golf Course and not to forget Beerwah, The home golf course OF Peter Baker-Finch.
Any one of them is no more than 25 mins away.

What Water Sports can we indulge in?
Take your pick from just swimming/floating right in front of Fairseas in the pristine calm waters of Pumicestone Passage ,or for the more adventurous, para-surfing or wind-surfing on the wide expanse of water where at any given time with the wind above 15 knots you will find up to 20 or more extreme sports people going to extremes .
For those of you less adventurous, there is Bills Hire Service at the Northern end of the Esplanade where you can hire quad bikes, the pedaling kind not the motor kind, catamarans, kayaks, and paddle skis.
What other attractions do you have to enjoy?
Underwater World at Mooloolaba Wharf is just 20 mins away
Wonderful for younger children Most interesting for all ages.
Many interesting shops ,food and stalls in the same complex
A pleasant walk around the amazing array of pleasure craft to see and all for free
A little further along will take you to the “Fish Market area” where trawlers bring their fresh catch.
Excellent choice of the best seafood
Bellingham Maze at the base of Buderim has just been re-furbished, for all ages to enjoy .
Aussie world next to the Ettamogah Pub charges just an entry fee and you or the kids can ride all day to your hearts content.
If you need a heart starter you can slip in next door to the Ettamogah Pub for a cold and frosty,and you can even get a famous Beefy’s Pie just a few doors down the road while you are there.
Daisy’s Place at the beginning of Steve Irwin way is just the place for a cup of coffee and a light snack .
The Big Kart Track is about a kilometre down Steve Irwin Way .There is a junior track for the small ones and a larger Le Mans track for the Rev-heads.

Are there any bush walking tracks nearby?
A short drive to the mountain range behind the coast is Mary Cairncross Park .It has any number of different length walking tracks and along the way you will be advised of different species of trees and flora that is in abundance in the fortest.
Coming out of the park and crossing the rtoad you get a wonderful view of all the Glasshouse Mountains.
A bit further into the hinterland you come across Kondalilla Falls where on a hot summer’s day you can swim ,walk the tracks or just sit and listen to the birds.
The drive along the ridge of Maleny, to Montville is littered with boutique shops ,coffee shops, art galleries ,etc, and at the end of that drive travelling North you can stop at the Mapleton Pub and sit on the front verandah sipping a cold one as you take in one of the best views in Australia.
Are you near the Power Boat club?
Weddings .Birthday or any other fun Celebration
The Caloundra Power Boat Club is a 12 minute walk along the foreshore of Pumicestone Passage through the Ecological Boardwalk to the club or 2 mins in a fast car .If taking your car make sure you get the free courtesy bus back as they drop you right at the front door of Fairseas.
If you enter the club and turn right you will see the Poker machines ,turn left and there is the Bar.
Turn right and you lose you money ,turn left and you get a return on your money.
